Chibi Girl with Bunny Ears in a Glass Dome

Hello Oddballs

It´s me, Tina
I´m back with some special for you. On my Blog you can find more photos and details.
Today I would like to remind you of our Blog Challenge and I decorated a glass dome with an sweet image. It is Chibi Girl with Bunny Ears #176
And you know ... Use my code to get 10% off your purchase in the Etsy Shop.

The soil, the heart and the skulls I have made of salt dough and
dyed after drying with acrylic paints.
Unfortunately, the salt dough is not very well done and a small skull is crumbled.

Because of Easter there is also a little yellow egg with feather and a
tiny little mouse sneaked under the dome, too.

I have put the label together from a vintage cinema ticket myself.
Oh yes, the whole thing is lit with 1 LED.

And now I hope you find the way to our Blog Challenge

See you soon....

Little Dreams :)

Hello Oddball's

Today I show you
a card with a stencil background.
The Digi itself I have cut with this shape with the Silhouette Cameo.
It is colored with Spectrum Noir and Twinmarker.
The margins of the digi-cut were wiped with Crayon.
The background is white cardstock.
Then I took a Blubberblasen stencil placed on the Catdstock.
With an old chip card, I have carefully Struckurpaste painted over it.
Carefully remove the template and continue until the cardstock is covered.
Then dried with an Embossingfön.
Distress Spray Stain sprayed in blue and yellow over it and also dried with the hair dryer.
The sentiment is stamped with single letters. The edges are then fringed and distressed.
A fabric Washitape with stars glued on for decoration.

I use Aries Image No 428

Courage Being Yourself Art Journal Page

Hey there Oddballs!  EK here today to share with you an Art Journal Page I made using IMG235- Whimsical Frilly Skull with Bow.

Using a collection of mousse, distress paints and stamping, I was able to create this page.

The digi was colored simply with some Spectrum Noir markers, and adhered to the journal page.

The sentiment came from a Tim Holtz stamp, and seems like a perfect sentiment for the page.  After all, it can't be easy being a girly, pretty skull girl in a work full of scary skulls.

For a full pictorial tutorial and a list of supplies, run over to my page ekgorman designs.  And till next time, Happy Crafting!

Teeny Weeny Changes Make a Big Difference

Hey there Oddballs! Alexa here & today I'm sharing with you one of my favorite things about digital stamps: the versatility you can get from just one stamp!

For today's project, I'm using this stamp, with the teeny weeny cutie lil guy & 3 messages included.

With digital stamps, you have so many options and possibilities. And I'm not just talking about types of projects! You could create the same project, making teeny weeny changes and see a big difference.

Below are 3 cards done in the same color scheme, but they are very different simply because I chose a different phrase for each, colored them differently, used whole and portions of the stamp & created different backgrounds .

This card uses scrap gel prints punched out in circles & just the lil cutie & a phrase included with the stamp.

This card has a background done with distress oxide, just the swing portion of the stamp & another phrase included with the stamp. Add in some art marks made with a mixed media pen & scallops made with pastels & it's a whole new look.

This card, I created a cleaner background by cutting out Scrapbook paper, used the whole stamp scene & the third phrase included with the stamp set.

So as you can see, just 1 stamp in the same project has lots of possibilities by just making some teeny weeny  changes!

Head over & grab some stamps and play with the possibilities! Remember to use "DTALEXA10" for 10% off your purchase!
